In close collaboration with one of our partners, Valnor has delivered a 2" Class 300# Trunnion ball valve in titanium with a 316 actuator to the Draugen offshore platform.
The valve was manufactured in accordance with VDS BA44, featuring several minor but important adaptations to meet the project's specific needs.
The customer requested the integration of lifting lugs on the actuator to simplify handling and installation. Additionally, installation space was limited, necessitating an alternative mounting solution: instead of a standard bracket between the valve and actuator, a specially designed plate was installed, reducing the total construction height.
The project was delivered after approximately 12 weeks, providing the customer with a solution that meets both technical requirements and space constraints. Projects where we can apply our experience to adapt an otherwise standard solution are ones we thrive in. Thank you for your trust!
