For Valnor, sustainability is an integral part of our business. We want to be active in and contribute to the development of a more sustainable society and see that the transition within the energy sector provides business opportunities for our customers.

Valnor supports the seventeen basic principles of the UN`s Global Compact and our internal ethical guidelines, as well as our ethical guidelines for suppliers, which are based on basic international conventions. We use the UN`s global sustainability goals as a starting point for our dialogue with stakeholders to identify sustainability-related risks and opportunities as part of our overall sustainability assessment. To ensure that we develop in the direction of our long-term sustainability goals, our sustainability work is fully integrated into our business development.

Sustainable development within the Addtech group of companies

Like all other companies within the Addtech group, we aim to run a sustainable company. This means that we must meet the quality and environmental requirements of the market, but also that we must be sustainable when it comes to working conditions, the environment and ethics. We believe that this creates benefits for our customers, suppliers, employees and the society in which we live.

Addtech’s sustainability work is based on the Code of Conduct. It is in line with the UN’s Global Compact, ILOs (International Labour Organization) core conventions and the OECD`s guidelines for multinational companies. Since 2011, the group have produced a sustainability audit every year. Some of the fields that are reviewed are the group’s energy consumption, climate impact, staff flow and employee health and safety.
